I'm in Golden, CO for a track meet in July, and I know something about the height. If it is higher than Denver?

The elevation of Denver 5280th

Golden height 5674th

You will notice no difference in the height difference between these cities. There is no significant advantage in the difference of 400 meters to an athletic body. If you from the beginning of 5280 over the sea, it will be a great advantage, as many chose Colorado as the Olympic Training Center.

I did not notice any difference between Boulder and Denver. At about the same height difference.

The other answer provided the requested information, but I will attend, too - essentially the same. A slight difference in height of gold, because it is closer to the foothills of Denver, but no gold is a suburb of Denver (but a nice area only). It is a small town, main street, and a bit of green tourism in the region. However, too many people on the way back to Denver and Golden deal and does not notice a difference in height between him and Denver. In athletics, is not it? Good luck! :-)
